Amanda Karlsson was born in 1989 and grew up in Värmland. She lives and works in Gothenburg. Her art is based on an alternative fictional reality where there is an answer to the most basic human. Where there is a deeper universal truth to reach only if one strives hard enough. The starting point is in the narrative. To explore our sociopolitical contemporary, class perspective and interpersonal relationships through a layer of fiction.
