Susan Gillhög

Susan Gillhög was born in 1950 and lives in Stockholm. She has studied at, among others, Konstfack, UNAM University in Mexico and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm. Susan's visual world is colorful and exotic. She found her own language early on with an intensely high color and a purely personal expression. The images are usually very spatial, rich in contrast and seemingly still. The rooms are built as tight still lifes with very clear and appealing play of colors.
