Tomas Nanne Sandberg was born in 1977, he lives and works in Stockholm. Tomas's world of images is a collage where imagination and memories are mixed. Places he visited and people he met or saw hurrying past in the periphery. He links all the fragments and moves them into his picture world, where time stops. In his images, Tomas wants to create spaces, depicted in different dimensions, unaware of each other and united in the image. In the images, conventional symbols are mixed with more freely interpretable visual signs. Imagination and playfulness are important in his image-making, housed under a roof of seriousness.
