A selection of works by Britta Marakatt-Labba is currently being presented in the gallery's showroom.

The works are presented in the showroom until on March 2.
Britta was born in 1951 and grew up in a family of reindeer herders in Saarivuoma Sami village. She has been an active artist for over 40 years, but she had her big international breakthrough in 2017 when her twenty-four meter long embroidery History was shown at the contemporary art exhibition Documenta 14. In 2022 she participated in the main exhibition of the Venice Biennale and now in March 2024 the exhibition Sylkvasse sting will be shown at the National Museum in Oslo.
