About the gallery

Gallerist Helle Knudsen has run galleries in Sweden since 1984. Galleri Helle Knudsen was established in 1999 at Södermalmstorg and today we are located at Hantverkargatan 18–20 on Kungsholmen.

Galleri Helle Knudsen focuses on contemporary art and represents as well as collaborates with about 30–40 artists, both emerging and established. We offer a carefully curated exhibition program with about 6–8 exhibitions per year and participate in art fairs in Sweden and abroad.

We assist private individuals with art in the home environment, companies with integrating art in the workplace, art associations with purchases for art lotteries, as well as regions and municipalities.

An important part of the gallery’s work is the commitment to the young Swedish art scene. In close cooperation with the Art Society Konstsällskapet Våga Se, one of Sweden’s largest general art associations, debut exhibitions and art scholarships are arranged to support new artistic careers and make the art life more accessible to a broad audience.

"Gallery Helle Knudsen is a meeting place for art enthusiasts, collectors, and professionals – a gallery where commitment, knowledge, and passion for contemporary art are at the center." - Helle Knudsen
