Collection: Carl Johan De Geer

Since his debut in the early 60s, Carl Johan De Geer has been a significant figure in Swedish cultural life. Innovative, provocative and distinctively versatile, he has worked as a visual artist, designer, filmmaker, photographer, scenographer and writer.

De Geer has had a large number of exhibitions in Sweden. Some of his recent major solo exhibitions (Släkten och slavarna, Den stora missuppfattningen, Ledtrådar, Vi hade fel) have been shown at, among others, Thielska Galleriet, Prins Eugen's Waldemarsudde and Färgfabriken in Stockholm, the Bildmuseet in Umeå, Dunkers Kulturhus in Helsingborg and Norrköping's art museum.
