Maria Nilsson

Maria Nilsson's (b. 1968, lives and works in Stockholm) primary medium is watercolor. She often draws inspiration from nature but is driven to abstract rather than depict what she sees. She strives for tension in the composition and balance between color and form, and uses the properties and techniques of watercolor to achieve this.
