Collection: Andrea Damp

Andrea Damp was born in 1977 on the island of Rügen, today part of Germany, then part of the GDR. She studied at, among others, Berlin University of the Arts.

Andrea Damp subtly balances abstraction and figuration in her paintings. Her works are created through a sophisticated method of layering and overlays, making the sensual process of painting creation tangible. Using figurative elements, the artist transforms her compositions into narrative, associative visual worlds characterized by atmosphere and emotional expression. Her paintings form an incomparable link between the autonomy of color and its ability to serve the image.
