Björn Wessman

Björn Wessman was born in 1949 in Hässleholm in Skåne. He lives and works in Stockholm. Wessman is today one of Sweden’s most distinguished contemporary artists. In his idiosyncratic image world, he seeks the essence of nature within the present, in the magic of the unfolding of events.

Björn Wessman is represented at e.g. The Royal Palace in Stockholm, the Modern Museum in Stockholm, the Gothenburg Art Museum, the Malmö Art Museum, the Picture Museum in Umeå and the Norrköping Art Museum.
