Björn Wessman was born in 1949 in Hässleholm in Skåne. He lives and works in Stockholm. Wessman is one of our most famous contemporary landscape painters. Björn's interest in nature started early in his childhood with games in wild Scanian gardens and forests, at the same time as a systematic collection of plants for a herbarium took place.
