Collection: Lars Nyberg
Lars Nyberg (born 1956, lives and works in Skinnskatteberg) has worked with dry needle since he was 17 years old. In the years 1978-83 he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm and has since worked as an artist. He has exhibited extensively both in Sweden and abroad.
There is a fascinating and uncontrollable immediacy to working with dry needle. To draw in the shiny copper plate with a sharp steel needle, to hear the needle against the plate and feel the resistance in the copper. My prints are represented in public institutions, but also in many private homes. The pictures live their own lives, and spend time with the viewers - it's a blessing to know that.
