In the background, one can see the silhouette of the mining mountain, where excess slag and unusable material have been piled up like stairs. When exploration and the search for new minerals have gone too far, little remains of the lands. What once were lush grazing pastures for animals, with green and healthy landscapes, will be replaced by the extraction of graphite, a part of the so-called green transition. But is it really as green as claimed? Global warming is causing ancient glaciers to melt and shrink in size, raising water levels and triggering floods. The primordial mothers who have fought to resist the destruction can no longer endure. It is no longer just about global warming; we face a natural disaster.
