In my imagination, X-et, like all artists, was occasionally struck by financial panic. The creativesolution then became (also in my imagination): to paint flowers, a motif that is easy to sell. Here is a table over which decorative flowers hover, on the table’s surface there are suggested squares forming a base plane. And there (my addition) stand small statuettes depicting surprised creatures. - Carl Johan De Geer
