Carola Kastman was born in 1968 in Ulricehamn. Lives and works in Stockholm. Aesthetically, Carola is attracted to color scales in black, gray and brown. She likes the dirty, not quite perfect finish. The Swedish melancholy is like a veil over the paintings and her brushstrokes follow the Scandinavian seasons.
