Mikael Wahrby was born in 1952 in Hägersten and he still lives and works there today. In the 1970s he was a student at the Royal Academy of Arts in Stockholm, where he also worked as a lecturer in copper printing from1994 to 2010. Since the end of the 1970s, he has been active in his own copper printing workshop.

In Midsommarkransen by Telefonplan is LM Ericsson. The facility has expressive glazed stair towers, perhaps it is one of functionalism's most beautiful industrial complexes in Stockholm. The building has a 70 meter high tower that was used for short wave research.
