Mikael Wahrby was born in 1952 in Hägersten and he still lives and works there today. In the 1970s he was a student at the Royal Academy of Arts in Stockholm, where he also worked as a lecturer in copper printing from1994 to 2010. Since the end of the 1970s, he has been active in his own copper printing workshop.

Ice Skating Pavilion
The small, fine brick pavilion with a narrow stair tower and spire was built for the Royal Skating Rink at Kastellholmen. Architecturally, the pavilion has been inspired by the medieval romantic "Citadel" at the top of Kastellholmen.
