Olle Borg (b. 1960) lives and works in Stockholm. He studied at Åke Pernby's Painting School 1982-83 and at the Academy of Fine Arts 1983-88. His abstract and non-figurative painting does not contain any imaginative elements but is filled with symbolism. The artistic subject is set aside for a more exploratory attitude. The patterns in his work are based on complex series of speeches and have been built up in layers upon layers of color.
