Svante Rydberg was born in 1948 in Ludvika, where he still lives and works. His artistic career began with studies at Pernby’s Painting School in Stockholm and the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome between 1969 and 1972. Throughout his career, he has exhibited his works at a wide range of galleries, such as Svenska Bilder and Galleri Astley, as well as at several art halls and museums across Sweden, including Piteå Art Hall, Eskilstuna Art Hall, and Dalarnas Museum. Rydberg has also been a regular participant in group exhibitions like Liljevalch’s Spring Salons, Dalasalongen, and Norrlandssalongen. He has been shown at Stockholm Art Fair and has also taken part in international exhibitions in Hamburg, Paris, Athens, and Tunis.
