Tomas Gustavsson (b.1958, Västerås) is educated at Västerås Art School and Konstfack in Stockholm. The environments in his latest paintings are taken from Härjedalen and places around Lake Mälaren. He often uses the landscape as a background for various scenes, where the paintings are shaped into stories about memories and forgetting.
