We are happy to participate in the international art fair Enter Art Fair where we will present a duo exhibition with the artists Jet-te L. Ranning and Andrea Damp. The two artists have widely different visual worlds, yet they find common ground in their shared focus on materiality. For both, the creative process is deeply rooted in an investigation of the physical properties and possibilities of their chosen materials.

Jet-te L. Ranning, Insieme, 2025, Pigment, oil, acrylic, marbledust on canvas, 130 x 100 cm
Jet-te L. Ranning’s (b. 1954, lives and works in Odense, Denmark) painting exists in the space between figurative and abstract. Her works are built up in multiple layers using oil, acrylic, and marble dust, creating a light, veil-like transparency. Through cracks in the surface, underlying layers of colour emerge, creating a dynamic interplay between structure and motif. Her painting captivates the eye and invites interpretation. She often draws inspiration from natural forms, ornamentation, and textile patterns. Throughout her artistic development, her palette has shifted from darker tones to lighter, more graphic expressions, imbued with a sense of stillness and air.

Andrea Damp, De lege artis, 2025, oil and acrylic on canvas, 30 x 40 cm
In her painting, Andrea Damp (b. 1977 on the island of Rügen, lives and works in Berlin, Germany) subtly maintains a balance between abstraction and figuration. The painterly qualities, such as gesture, structure, colour effect, and materiality, form an equal counterpoint to narrative and figuration. Andrea Damp’s works are created in a sophisticated, intuitive process of layering and superimposition, which makes the sensual process of image creation tangible and immediate. By incorporating figurative elements, the painter transforms her compositions into narrative, associative pictorial worlds characterised by atmosphere and emotional expression.
