"About the series 'Lost Gardens'"
I have collected images related to nature and gardens for many years. My own photos, others’ photos, and internal images in the form of memories, scents, fantasies, and dreams. At the beginning of 2025, I etched the first plate, and it was like turning on a tap. I had no idea of everything that had accumulated within me, and I have been working intensively with my plates ever since.. - Mikael Kihlman
